ASTCC 学生会 Mission Statement:

As representatives of the Tacoma Community College student body, the ASTCC Student Government's mission is to act in the best interests of all 学生 by listening to the diverse needs 和 issues of 学生, identifying equitable solutions, 和倡导成功.

Members of Associated Student Body of Tacoma Community College (ASTCC) are responsible :

的服务 & 活动费(S)&A Fee) is distributed by the Associated 学生会 to fund student focused support systems within the college.

These fees are assessed through quarterly tuition. 每年，ASTCC执行委员会理事会要求提出预算请求. The ASTCC Budget Committee then works to disseminate 整个学院的资金. 这些资金提供:

The Student Tech Fee is distributed by ASTCC to fund technology projects that benefit 学生.

These fees are assessed through quarterly tuition. 每年，ASTCC执行委员会董事会要求支付技术费用. The Student Senate then votes on which requests to fund, 和 the ASTCC Budget Committee builds a budget for the allocation of funds 选定项目. 这些资金支持:

学生俱乐部 organize 和 support some ambitious projects, from regional 和 national conferences 给电影放映的演讲嘉宾. Many clubs associated with programs, such as the Student Nurse's Organization (SNO) 和 Radiology's Rad Tech Club, help 学生 offset fees for m和atory conferences 和 trainings.

ASTCC has a crucial role representing the student voice 在大学委员会和董事会. For instance, 学生 are involved in each Tenure Committee selection process, 和 the ASTCC总统 attends Board of Trustees meetings as a non-voting member.
